Is Graham a Linebacker or Lineman?
Michigan defensive end Brandon Graham was questioned at length Saturday about his position in the NFL: 3-4 linebacker or 4-3 defensive end?
Maybe it’s because of comparisons to LaMarr Woodley, another Michigan defensive end who switched to linebacker when he arrived in Steelers camp.
“I get compared to him a lot,” Graham said. “That was somebody who [...]

Getting to Know Tim Lewis
Sitting at a desk filled with paperwork, Falcons secondary coach Tim Lewis has had little time to decorate his new office in Flowery Branch. The lone splash of color comes from a large monitor that — when not filled with game film — displays an image of his three smiling children.
It’s been just more than [...]

Lewis Added to Defensive Staff
The Falcons announced the addition of Tim Lewis to the coaching staff Monday, 13 days after it was announced assistant head coach/secondary Emmitt Thomas’ contract would not be renewed.
In Lewis, the Falcons get another former player turned coach with experience as an NFL defensive coordinator. He will serve as the team’s secondary coach.
Lewis has spent [...]

Well Falcons fans, it’s certainly been a wild ride through the 2009 television season. If you’re lucky you’ve seen some funny moments on broadcasts (maybe even a lineman pulling a little kickoff duty).
We’ve seen triumphs and defeats before audiences large and small.
Now it’s time to make plans for one final weekend of Falcons football before [...]

Your Week 16 Television Maps
Two games remain in the Falcons 2009 season and they will likely be shown to smaller audiences. Such is the case for teams with no spot in the playoffs facing opponents with losing records.
This week, according to rule, the Falcons game will be on CBS. The visiting team dictates which network the game will be [...]

Your Week 15 TV Distribution Maps
We’ve reached the point in the season where more games are played on days other than Sunday. Take, for example, Thursday’s game between the Colts and Jaguars, Saturday’s game between the Saints and Cowboys (Falcons playoff implications galore) and Monday night’s game featuring the Giants and Redskins (even more Falcons playoff implications).
Next week a Friday [...]

Roster Moves Continue
The Falcons continued tweaking the roster on Wednesday and Thursday, announcing more moves and additions of two veteran free agents.
Notably, the team added eight-year veteran Verron Haynes and released former Georgia Force wideout Troy Bergeron. On Thursday, the team added another linebacker — two-year veteran Edmond Miles.
Fans in Georgia or who follow Bulldog football likely [...]

The Mock Draft: Version 7.0
The NFL Draft is just more than two days away and speculation is in high gear.
When I first had the idea to do a series of mock drafts leading up to this epic offseason event I was ignorant to the various opinions held by the Falcons fan base.
You all opened my eyes to more possibilities [...]
