Jerry “On Schedule” in Rehab
Peria Jerry’s torn knee ligament in Week 2 did more than end his season. It rocked the team’s defensive tackle rotation and hurt the pass rush — something the Falcons lacked at points for the rest of the 2009 campaign.
But Jerry is making progress in his recovery and has been a regular in team’s Flowery [...]

Getting to Know Tim Lewis
Sitting at a desk filled with paperwork, Falcons secondary coach Tim Lewis has had little time to decorate his new office in Flowery Branch. The lone splash of color comes from a large monitor that — when not filled with game film — displays an image of his three smiling children.
It’s been just more than [...]

Two games remain in the Falcons 2009 season and they will likely be shown to smaller audiences. Such is the case for teams with no spot in the playoffs facing opponents with losing records.
This week, according to rule, the Falcons game will be on CBS. The visiting team dictates which network the game will be [...]

Your Week 13 Television Breakdown…
When Michael Vick first signed with the Philadelphia Eagles I thought Sunday’s game could be flexed to the prime time spot on NBC. As both Atlanta and Philadelphia moved toward top rivals in the NFC Wild Card chase, I was almost sure it would happen.
Shows what I know. Minnesota and Arizona stays locked in on [...]
