First Roster Moves in the Books

The Falcons got a jump start on mandatory roster moves Friday, releasing seven of the 20 players needed before the NFL’s Saturday-evening, 53-man limit. Report: Some Birds Agree to Terms

Free agency is under way but, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Falcons made some moves Thursday to ensure some contributors from 2008 remain in Atlanta.
