Falcons Release Three Players

The Falcons released defensive end Willie Evans, tight end Ben Hartsock and cornerback Von Hutchins Tuesday afternoon. Hartsock and Hutchins were free agent acquisitions before the 2008 season. Report: Some Birds Agree to Terms

Free agency is under way but, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Falcons made some moves Thursday to ensure some contributors from 2008 remain in Atlanta.
