Hey Sean! You better wear that #56 Jersey with pride. That belonged to one of the Atlanta Greats Keith Brooking. So do us proud and make it feared once again!

    Go Falcons!

Spoon is who I wanted but I do not like the fact they gave him # 56. That was KB’s number and even though he has acted like a fool since he left I still believe that his number should be retired. With that being said some other people do not agree with me and I guess that includes the FO.

Glad to see we got more help in the secondary.. Really glad to see we got a couple more guys up front.. We really need help all over our defense but hopefully with the signing of Dunta and now the rookies hopefully we can turn our defense around.. We definately will need a good D in our division.. Can’t wait for the season to start.. And Witherspoon wearing 56 is fine with me.. Hopefully he wears it even better than Brooking..

the jaguars just released big john henderson he is is one of smittys boys from jacksonville lets sign him he will require double teams all day this will allow abraham and beirman to put up double digit sacks numbers or if we dont get him we need a defensive end what about a trade for osi umenirya what do the giants want for him but if they want too much then big john will do remember in 08 when abraham had 16.5 sacks you can accredit that to big grady jackson for requiring double teams all of our dt weigh 300 lbs or less we need more beef on the d line we have some athletic pass rushing dt’s but no monster 325+ tackles that require double teams so come on dimitroff and smitty we have three ex jaguars on the roster already peterson, williams and fudge one more could no

For positions, what is a DC, or a DS for that matter. I know what position they play, just don’t understand the monikers.

DC stands for deep corner and DS stands for deep safety. Despite that, I’m ready for this year to kick off. I definitely cant wait to see what Harry Douglas has for us this year. 10-6 minimum 12-4 max. FLY HIGH FALCONS

Some of you people think Brooking was some kind of god.Are you kidding me I can think of many many falcon LB’s over the years who were better and had high character. The Smith family just didn’t baby set them the way Mr. Blank did Brooking for years.Spoon you make that your number to retire. P.S. Brooking really showed his true charter in the Dallas game last year!

I really like the Kerry Meier selection….I think he is going to make an immediate impact and hopefully Jenkins will see less and less playing time!!!

one thing i noticed from the online videos is that Rafael Bush likes to hit. Yes they are youtube vids but that’s all I could find. That being said, I hope he transfers all those hard hitting highlight reels over to the NFL and punch a Saint in the throat!

i agree …Weatherspoon is younger and will be a beast for our team.. put it this way…he is young, faster and has a bright future with the Atlanta falcons…brooking is getting old and getting SLOW(cause of his age)….no disrepect to brooking..he gave 13 beautiful years with us…but after the dallas game..i lost most of my respect for him..i would still like to see keith retire as a falcon thou!!!

Who cares about brooking he sucks remember dat play against the cardinals in the playoffs he played so out of position if he knocks the pass down maybe the game would have a different outturn.

Should we give our newest Arizona State RB #42? After all, the last one worked out pretty well for us…

I liked keith very much at tech and as a falcon. his jersey should be retired with us. however i am not happy with the things he said or done, but still as a falcon he was our man for 10 years. As long as the jersey is not retired he spoon can wear it. I have never heard anyone complain about someone wearing deion jersey and if any jersey that should be retired and never put on again is deion. Go falcons we have a good team now we have some depth at key postions. Falcons go 12-4 or 11-5 win the south and go to superbowl.

why ya’ll questioning whether weatherspoon should wear or can wear 56? Keith Brooking sucks in Dallas and he sucked as a falcon. ya’ll just wont admit it cause hes a home town boy but its true.
