Catching Up from Round One

The first NFL Draft in prime time appears to be a ratings success. That’s good news for the league and an encouraging sign for the AF.com team, which rolled out some new features to an after-work audience.

If you missed the two, 30-minute “DraftCast” segments during the first round you can check out the archived video. We’ll also have more live hits from Flowery Branch throughoutt the weekend including Sean Weatherspoon’s introductory press conference and General Manager Thomas Dimtiroff’s post-pick comments to the media.

Don’t forget… We have six rounds left.

PART ONE – An interview with Falcons Owner and CEO Arthur Blank, President Rich McKay, former tackle Todd Weiner and WXIA’s Randy Waters. Also hear Wes Durham, me and the new Taco Mac Insider Niki Noto.

Would love to see us get into the 2nd round without losing 3rd round picks.

i know we dont need a lot to be a top flight offense.one pick that would go a long way to change us into one.jacoby ford.the main thing that was missing last season was a track star to strech the defense.with this new aspect think of what roddy and tony g. could do.in passing situations with norwood in the backfield and the three foremention players on the field at the sametime would give opposing defenses headaches the week of preperation for the falcon’s.i compare ford to az hakim of the rams superbowl teams.being a slot receiver allows one to grow into the job while playing.he also has special team value.which would keep norwood of the ir list

THAT WOOD BE SMART 2 TRADE JENKINS FOR A SECOND ROUND PICK! HE BRINGS NOTHING TO THE FALCONS TABLE BUT BAD STATS! THERE ARE STILL SOME WELL ROUNDED RECEIVERS ON THE BOARD: Golden Tate, Arrelious Benn, Eric Decker, Carlton Mitchell, Damien Williams, Jordan Shipley, and Jacoby Ford.

How could we let golden tate slip through our HANDS!!!!!????? WE LET THE SEAHAWKS draft him in the LATE 2nd round. MICHAEL JENKINS CAN’T CATCH, harry douglas doesn’t look to be an elite reciever, hes only fast. Matt Ryan isn’t going to get better unless we surrond him with weapons, we have a running back, ONE tight end, and ONE wide receiver, we need 2 to make matt ryan a 4000 yrd guy
