Sunday: Notable Workout Numbers
Media isn’t allowed to watch workouts at the Combine so there’s often an eager gathering around televisions in the work center to see new times. Results are also posted on NFL.com, which is where we learned additional numbers on the bench press and vertical jumps.
Some thoughts on results…
… More bench press numbers came [...]

Weatherspoon Keeps Weight in Mind
Saturday at the Scouting Combine Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon said he was scheduled to meet with the Falcons. That would add another connection between the prospect and the team, which drafted former Missouri safety William Moore in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Moore played in two games for the Falcons last season before [...]
Is Graham a Linebacker or Lineman?
Michigan defensive end Brandon Graham was questioned at length Saturday about his position in the NFL: 3-4 linebacker or 4-3 defensive end?

Dimitroff: Cautious in Free Agency
General Manager Thomas Dimitroff met with the media at the Scouting Combine Saturday afternoon and, as Falcons fans are painfully aware, didn’t reveal much on the team’s draft or free agency plans.
(Did you expect anything less?)
“This is my 21st Combine and honestly I never get tired and continue to be ramped up by the [...]
Weatherspoon Will Meet with Falcons
Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, who racked up more than 400 tackles in his college career, said he’s scheduled to meet with Falcons personnel at the Scouting Combine.
Weatherspoon (6-foot-1, 239 lbs.) turned heads at the Senior Bowl last month and has been mentioned in some Internet mock drafts as a Falcons selection.
He stresses his versatility.
“I think [...]

Perhaps a Too Early Look at Ravens
Friday at the Combine I spoke with my counterpart at BaltimoreRavens.com, Mike Duffy, about what has become a vibrant preseason rivalry between the Falcons and Ravens.
Neither Duffy or I know for sure if the teams will face each other in the preseason for the sixth time in the last seven years, but it would seem [...]
