Well Falcons fans, it’s certainly been a wild ride through the 2009 television season. If you’re lucky you’ve seen some funny moments on broadcasts (maybe even a lineman pulling a little kickoff duty).
We’ve seen triumphs and defeats before audiences large and small.
Now it’s time to make plans for one final weekend of Falcons football before in the 2009 season ends. But, thanks to scheduling, a win over the Buccaneers Sunday can literally start 2010 off on a positive note.
The Falcons-Bucs game will be called by the crew of Dick Stockton, Charles Davis and Laura Okmin.
ADDITIONAL NOTES ON WEEK 17 TV…
… Most of Indiana will get the Bills-Colts game. Wonder if they’ll watch just to see what debatable coaching decisions go down. Or, at this point, is it pretty much decided the first string won’t be playing?
… If you feel like flipping channels, the Pittsburgh-Miami game will be on CBS opposite Falcons-Bucs in the Atlanta market. Not a bad matchup for Week 17.
… Must be a little weird for Jeff Fisher to have a production meeting with Rich Gannon, the CBS color analyst who once beat Fisher’s Titans in the AFC Championship Game. Then again, maybe it’s not weird at all. I’m just assuming. I know — as a man who grew up a Tennessee fan — it would be odd for me.
… You won’t see the Rams-49ers game in St. Louis. It’s blacked out.
