Post-Practice Fun
Head Coach Mike Smith pulled his team together for a little fun and games at the close of Saturday’s mini camp session.
In what has become a tradition for the Falcons, players took turns trying to catch a football launched by the JUGS Machine from nearly 100 yards away.
Each of the team’s draft picks on the field took their turn with cornerbacks Chris Owens and William Middleton, safety William Moore and linebacker Spencer Adkins finding success.
(For the record, I can only remember a handful of players doing this all of last season).
Offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds had a chance, but the ball shot through his arms. Defensive linemen Lawrence Sidbury and Vance Walker appeared to misjudge the distance and couldn’t recover in time to make the catch.

That’s funny, I did not realize William Middleton was a Member of British Parliament, or that Chris Owens was a pro basketball player.
How did it go with Spencer Adkins at cornerback, he will be good in the NFL, what people don’t realize is he can play RB,CB,SS,FS HE IS THAT GOOD!!!!!!!!!
Dang Wikipedia leading me wrong! They should be more careful about feeding links. Still a cool plugin I’m using, though.
